Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the provision of our removals, logistics, storage, and house clearance services across the Midlands.

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services provided through 6 Days Logistics Group.

6 Days Logistics Group is a trading brand of 6 Days Delivery Ltd.

By requesting a quotation, making a booking, paying a deposit, making payment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.


1. Who We Are

6 Days Logistics Group website is operated by 6 Days Delivery Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We provide removals, man and van, house clearance, waste clearance, furniture transport, logistics and related services throughout the United Kingdom.

Services may be carried out either directly by 6 Days Delivery Ltd or by approved contractors within our network.

Where a service is fulfilled by an approved contractor, that contractor is responsible for operating their vehicle, employing their staff, maintaining appropriate insurance, and complying with applicable laws and regulations.

Regardless of who performs the service, 6 Days Delivery remains your primary point of contact for booking administration and customer support.


2. Quotations

All quotations are based on the information you provide, including collection and delivery addresses, inventory details, photographs, videos, access arrangements, parking requirements, and property information.

You are responsible for ensuring all information provided is complete and accurate.

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issue.

If the information supplied is inaccurate, incomplete, or materially changes before the service takes place, we reserve the right to revise the quotation and apply additional charges where appropriate.


3. Scope of Services

Your quotation covers only the services specifically detailed within the quote.

Unless expressly stated, the quoted price does not include:

  • Additional journeys
  • Additional crew members or vehicles
  • Packing, dismantling, or reassembly services
  • Additional waste volumes
  • Waiting time
  • Additional collection or delivery locations
  • Delays caused by third parties

Any additional work requested may incur further charges.


4. Vehicle Capacity

Quotations are based on the estimated volume of items provided by you.

Where the volume of goods exceeds the capacity of the booked vehicle, additional charges may apply for extra trips, vehicles, crew members, or labour time.

If additional transport cannot reasonably be provided on the day, some items may remain uncollected.

We are not responsible for any items that cannot be transported due to inaccurate information provided during booking.


5. Payments

A deposit of 20% of the total quoted price is required to secure your booking and reserve the vehicle and crew. Deposit refunds are subject to Section 7 (Cancellations).

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 5 days before the scheduled service date.

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of any deposit paid in accordance with our cancellation policy.

We reserve the right to refuse to commence or continue any service where payment requirements have not been satisfied.

Payment Processing

All online payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store, process, or have access to your full payment card details.

6. Booking Amendments

Requests to change the service date, collection or delivery addresses, service requirements, or scope of work are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

Any revised pricing will be confirmed before the booking is amended.


7. Cancellations

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to hello@6dayslogisticsgroup.co.uk.

  • 14 or more days’ notice: Full deposit refund.
  • 7–13 days’ notice: 50% of the deposit refunded, subject to a minimum retained amount of £45.
  • 5–6 days’ notice: Deposit is non-refundable.
  • Less than 5 days’ notice, or where the customer fails to provide access, fails to attend, or otherwise prevents the service from taking place: We reserve the right to retain the deposit and charge reasonable costs already incurred, including vehicle allocation, staffing, route planning, administration, and other preparatory work, up to the full booking value where such costs have been incurred and cannot reasonably be avoided.

If the booking is made online, by telephone, or by other means without face-to-face contact, customers may have cancellation rights under applicable consumer legislation.

Where you request that preparatory work or services begin within any applicable cooling-off period, you agree that reasonable charges may apply for work already carried out if you subsequently cancel.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.


8. Customer Responsibilities

You You agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information
  • Ensure suitable access at all locations
  • Ensure items are appropriately packed unless packing services have been purchased
  • Arrange any required permits or parking suspensions
  • Ensure items are ready for collection at the agreed time

Failure to do so may result in additional charges.


9. Parking and Access

ou are responsible for arranging any necessary parking permits, bay suspensions, access permissions, lift reservations, and building management approvals.

Any fines, penalties, waiting charges, or delays resulting from inadequate arrangements may be charged to you.


10. House Clearance and Waste Removal Services

6 Days Delivery LWe hold all licences required to undertake waste collection and disposal activities where applicable.

You must accurately describe all waste and clearance items before collection.

We reserve the right to refuse collection of hazardous waste, asbestos, chemicals, medical waste, explosives, illegal materials, or any item prohibited by law.

Additional charges may apply where waste volumes exceed those quoted.

Where legally required, waste transfer documentation will be provided.


11. Prohibited Items

  • Hazardous materials
  • Explosives
  • Firearms
  • Illegal substances
  • Dangerous chemicals
  • Perishable goods
  • Human remains

We reserve the right to refuse transport of any item we reasonably consider unsafe.


12. High Value Items

You must notify us before booking if any individual item exceeds £500 in value.

This includes, but is not limited to, jewellery, watches, cash, antiques, artwork, collectables, and important documents.

Additional insurance arrangements may be required.

Failure to disclose high-value items may affect any claim.


13. Insurance

All service providers operating through our network are required to maintain appropriate insurance relevant to the services they provide, including:

  • Goods in Transit Insurance
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Commercial Vehicle Insurance

Evidence of insurance may be requested before the service date.


14. Damage and Claims

You should inspect your belongings upon completion of the service.

Visible damage must be reported immediately.

Any damage discovered after completion must be reported in writing within 7 days.

Claims should include:

  • Booking reference
  • Description of the damage
  • Photographs
  • Supporting evidence

We will investigate all claims and assist in communicating with the relevant contractor or insurer where appropriate.

We are not liable for loss or damage arising from:

Items prohibited under these Terms

Inadequate packing by the customer

Pre-existing damage

Mechanical or electrical failure not caused by our negligence


15. Delays

Any collection, delivery, arrival, or completion times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including traffic congestion, road closures, severe weather, vehicle breakdowns, accidents, property chain delays, or ferry disruptions.

We shall not be liable for losses arising from delays outside our reasonable control.


16. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a service where:

  • Unsafe conditions exist
  • Abuse or threatening behaviour occurs
  • Illegal or prohibited items are present
  • Payment requirements have not been satisfied
  • Access is unsafe
  • The service materially differs from that booked

Cancellation charges may still apply..


17. Liability

NoNothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to this, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking.

We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of earnings, accommodation costs, business interruption, or missed appointments.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.


18. Complaints

Complaints relating to the service provided should be submitted in writing to hello@6dayslogisticsgroup.co.uk within 48 hours of service completion.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 working days and provide a response within 14 working days where reasonably possible.


19. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using our services, you consent to the processing of your information as described in that policy.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The version in force on the date of booking shall apply to that booking.


21. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
