Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the provision of our removals, logistics, storage, and house clearance services across the Midlands.

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services provided through 6 Days Logistics Group.

6 Days Logistics Group is a trading brand of 6 Days Delivery Ltd.

By requesting a quotation, making a booking, paying a deposit, making payment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.


1. Who We Are

6 Days Logistics Group is operated by 6 Days Delivery Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We provide removals, man and van, house clearance, waste clearance, furniture transport, logistics and related services throughout the United Kingdom.

Services may be carried out either:

  • Directly by 6 Days Delivery Ltd; or
  • By approved independent contractors, subcontractors, or partner operators within our network.

Where a service is fulfilled by an approved contractor, that contractor remains responsible for operating their vehicle, employing their staff, maintaining their insurance, and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

Regardless of who performs the service, 6 Days Logistics Group remains your primary point of contact for booking administration and customer support.


2. Quotations

All quotations are based on the information supplied by you.

This may include:

  • Collection and delivery addresses
  • Property type
  • Inventory lists
  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Floor information
  • Access restrictions
  • Parking arrangements
  • Clearance requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is complete and accurate.

If the information supplied is inaccurate, incomplete, or materially changes before the service takes place, we reserve the right to revise the quotation and charge additional fees where appropriate.


3. What Your Quote Covers

Your quotation covers only the services specifically described within the quotation.

The quoted price does not automatically include:

  • Additional journeys
  • Additional crew members
  • Additional vehicles
  • Additional waste volumes
  • Dismantling or reassembly services
  • Packing services
  • Waiting time
  • Delays caused by third parties
  • Additional collection or delivery locations

Any additional work requested may be subject to additional charges.


4. Vehicle Capacity

Our quotations are based upon the estimated volume of items provided by you.

If the volume of items exceeds the capacity of the booked vehicle, additional charges may apply for:

  • Additional trips
  • Additional vehicles
  • Additional crew
  • Additional labour time

Where additional transport cannot be reasonably provided on the day, some items may remain uncollected.

We shall not be responsible for any items that cannot be transported due to inaccurate information provided during booking.


5. Payments

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
  • Full payment may be required before the service date.
  • Outstanding balances must be paid immediately upon completion of the service.

We reserve the right to refuse to commence or continue a service where payment requirements have not been satisfied.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Bank transfer
  • Debit card
  • Credit card
  • Cash (where agreed)

6. Booking Amendments

You may request to change your booking date or service details.

Amendments requested at least 72 hours before the scheduled service date will be accommodated where reasonably possible and subject to availability.

Requests made within 72 hours of the service date may incur an administrative charges on our discretion.


7. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

More than 14 Days Before Service

Bookings cancelled more than 14 Days before the scheduled service date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid, less any non-refundable administration charges that were clearly disclosed at the time of booking.

Less than 14 Days Before Service

Bookings cancelled less than 14 Days before the scheduled service date may result in the forfeiture of any deposit paid.

On the Day Cancellation

Where the customer cancels on the day of service, fails to provide access, fails to attend, or otherwise prevents the service from taking place, we reserve the right to charge the full booking value.


8. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information
  • Ensure suitable access at all locations
  • Ensure all items are packed appropriately unless packing services have been purchased
  • Arrange any required permits
  • Arrange any required parking suspensions
  • Ensure items are ready for collection at the agreed time

Failure to do so may result in additional charges.


9. Parking and Access

Customers are responsible for arranging:

  • Parking permits
  • Bay suspensions
  • Access permissions
  • Lift reservations
  • Building management approvals

Any fines, penalties, waiting charges, or delays resulting from inadequate arrangements may be charged to the customer.


10. House Clearance and Waste Removal Services

6 Days Delivery Ltd holds the necessary licences required to undertake waste collection and disposal activities where applicable.

Customers must accurately describe all waste and clearance items before collection.

We reserve the right to refuse collection of:

  • Hazardous waste
  • Asbestos
  • Chemicals
  • Medical waste
  • Explosives
  • Illegal materials
  • Any item prohibited by law

Additional charges may apply where waste volumes exceed those quoted.

Where legally required, waste transfer documentation will be supplied.


11. Prohibited Items

Unless expressly agreed in writing, we will not transport:

  • Hazardous materials
  • Explosives
  • Firearms
  • Illegal substances
  • Perishable goods
  • Human remains
  • Dangerous chemicals

We reserve the right to refuse transport of any item we reasonably consider unsafe.


12. High Value Items

You must notify us before booking if any item exceeds £500 in value.

Examples include:

  • Jewellery
  • Watches
  • Cash
  • Antiques
  • Artwork
  • Collectables
  • Important documents

Additional insurance arrangements may be required.

Failure to disclose high-value items may affect any claim.


13. Insurance

All service providers operating through our network are required to maintain appropriate insurance relevant to the services they provide.

Where services are carried out directly by 6 Days Delivery Ltd, the relevant insurance is held by 6 Days Delivery Ltd.

Where services are carried out by approved contractors, the relevant insurance is held by the contractor performing the work.

Insurance may include:

  • Goods in Transit Insurance
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Commercial Van Insurance

Customers may request evidence of insurance before the service date.


14. Damage and Claims

Customers must inspect their belongings upon completion of the service.

Any visible damage should be reported immediately.

Any damage discovered after completion must be reported in writing within 7 days.

Claims should include:

  • Booking reference
  • Description of the damage
  • Photographs
  • Supporting evidence

We will investigate all claims and assist customers in communicating with the relevant contractor or insurer where appropriate.


15. Delays

While every effort is made to arrive at the agreed time, delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control including:

  • Traffic congestion
  • Road closures
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Severe weather
  • Accidents
  • Ferry delays

Arrival times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

We shall not be liable for losses arising from delays outside our reasonable control.


16. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a service where:

  • Unsafe conditions exist
  • Abuse or threatening behaviour occurs
  • Illegal items are present
  • Payment has not been made
  • Access is unsafe
  • The service materially differs from that booked

In such cases, cancellation charges may still apply.


17. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to that:

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking.
  • We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.
  • We shall not be liable for loss of profits, loss of earnings, accommodation costs, business interruption, or missed appointments.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.


18. Complaints

Complaints should be submitted to:

We aim to:

  • Acknowledge complaints within 2 working days.
  • Investigate complaints promptly.
  • Provide a response within 14 working days where reasonably possible.

19. Privacy

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at: /privacy-policy

By using our services, you consent to the processing of your information as described in that policy.


20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The version in force on the date of booking shall apply to that booking.


21. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
